Abstract:
This GIS data layer shows the location of the proposed Neptune LNG LLC (Suez Energy North America) pipeline lateral and deepwater port. This proposed project is located in federal waters in Massachusetts Bay and will interconnect with Algonquin's existing offshore Hubline natural gas pipeline system. This dataset was created by plotting the route coordinates provided in the docket titled, "Neptune LNG, L.L.C. Liquefied Natural Gas Deepwater Port License Application," submitted by Neptune LNG, LLC (Document ID: USCG-2005-22611-0479.1). These data represent the project layout as of January 2008.
Purpose:
This dataset was created for reference and display of proposed energy facilities in Massachusetts coastal waters.

All displayed features were mapped based upon a set of North American Datum 1983 (NAD83) coordinates derived from the Deepwater Port License Application. Coordinates of start, end, and angles were tabulated on Figure 2-1 of the Site Plan, drafted by Intec Engineering. The tabulated coordinates on the figure were used to derive the completeness of the cable route.
